Tampa's Supreme Photo Booth Experiences

Somewhere along the way, we start living by someone else’s rhythm.

We move faster. Do more. Perform. Provide. Please.

We hold it all together. Yet inside… something feels off.

Disconnection. Exhaustion. An invisible weight.

If this feels familiar, you’re not broken.

You’re just being called back to yourself.
To remember who you are when all the noise falls away.

To come home to your Ikigai “reason for being.”

It’s the place where four rivers meet:
What you love. What you’re good at. What the world needs. And what you can offer.
It’s the deep yes in your body. The gentle fire in your soul.

What You’ll Experience:

Daily breathwork & meditation to calm your mind and anchor your presence

Freediving & ocean rituals for surrender, clarity, and emotional release

Movement, yoga & embodiment practices to return to your body’s wisdom

Journaling & soul inquiry to reconnect with what truly matters

Island-to-island sailing as a metaphor for inner navigation

Group circles & integration time for authentic reflection and connection

Life on Board & Food

Living on Ikigai is living in rhythm with nature and community. Meals are co-created and inspired by the ocean and land: lobster, fresh catch, tropical fruit, and vibrant veggies.

Cooking is a communal dance of curiosity and joy. You’re welcome to join in or simply savor the nourishment.
We live close with 5 guests and 3 crew members Luca, Puck & Javier, but not crowded. We rise with the sun. We eat by the sea. We sleep under stars.

→ Practice: Notice what nourishes you, beyond the plate.

Hey, I'm PUCK KROONSBERG!

TEDx speaker, certified breathwork & meditation facilitator

his Retreat Was Born From My Own Becoming
I used to follow a path shaped by everyone else’s needs and expectations until I burned out at the age of 23. That moment cracked something open in me. I realized I could either keep surviving, or finally start living.
Breathwork and meditation brought me back to myself and transformed my life in ways I could never have imagined. It helped me find my Ikigai: my reason for being.
This retreat is designed to help you find yours.
It brings together everything that became medicine for me during the hardest chapters of my life:
Burn-out, heartbreak, leaving my home country, surviving cancer.

This is more than a getaway. It’s a return.
To yourself.
To your rhythm.
To your freedom.
To your Ikigai.

Luca

Skipper and Multidisciplinary Instructor

Luca is a professional skipper certified as an RYA Yachtmaster Offshore, a freediving instructor (AIDA and Apnea Total), a kitesurfing instructor (IKO), and a yoga teacher (Yoga Alliance).

After years spent inside “the system,” chasing goals and expectations that weren’t truly his own, he chose to cast off — both literally and metaphorically — to rediscover himself. Today, he lives full-time at sea and leads experiences that integrate sport, awareness, and conviviality.

Javier

Deckhand and Assistant

Hi! I’m Buru, born in Mallorca in 1987. Growing up near the sea allowed me to fully embrace it: fishing, exploring the coast, and sailing.

Over time, I earned my STCW certification, and years later, I decided to cross the ocean in search of my path. That’s when I met Ikigai Sailing — and since then, the journey continues…

FAQs

Do I need previous experience in yoga, meditation, or freediving?

No, it’s not necessary. All sessions are suitable for all levels and are optional.

I’m nervous about holding my breath — what should I do?

Don’t worry — our instructors are certified and qualified to guide you safely and supportively through these experiences.

What is Janzu?

Janzu is a water therapy practice that promotes deep relaxation and helps release physical and emotional tension.

What’s the daily routine like?

In the mornings (around 1.5 hours), we focus on Pranayama breathing techniques, Yoga, Meditation, and alternating sessions of bodyweight training or boxing basics. Evenings are dedicated to introspection, relaxation, sunset yoga, and meditation.

Will I get seasick?

Probably not — the large catamaran offers excellent stability, and we anchor in protected areas. If it does happen, seasickness tablets are very effective, and the body usually adjusts within a couple of days.

Do I need to become a member of Ikigai to join a retreat?

Yes, membership is valid for one year and is included in the retreat fee.

Do I need travel insurance?

It is highly recommended.

Is there internet on board?

Yes, the boat is equipped with Starlink internet.

Should I bring cash with me?

Yes, it’s advisable to bring some US dollars for your time in Panama City, for souvenirs, or for any personal expenses not included in the package.

How do I get to the boat?

Your journey will likely begin with a flight to Tocumen International Airport (PTY) in Panama City, usually arriving in the afternoon or evening. You’ll need to spend at least one night in the capital — a great opportunity to explore the city and stroll through the charming streets of Casco Viejo, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The next morning, a private 4×4 jeep will pick you up at your hotel and take you to the Caribbean coast. After about 2.5 hours through the Guna Yala rainforest, a local boat will take you to Ikigai, where you’ll arrive around 10:30 AM. The entire journey is organized by us in collaboration with trusted local partners to ensure smooth and safe logistics from start to finish.

How is electricity managed on board? What kind of voltage and outlets will I find?

On Ikigai, we are fully energy self-sufficient. Thanks to solar panels, a hydrogenerator, and a backup generator, we produce and store all the energy needed to live on board — even during long stretches at sea. The electrical system runs on 220 volts (European standard) and 12 volts (DC). Each cabin is equipped with Schuko-style European outlets. There is also a shared power station in the cockpit area for charging phones, cameras, tablets, and laptops. Please avoid using high-consumption devices (like hairdryers or electric kettles), as they can overload the system. If you’re coming from a country with different plugs (e.g. the UK or USA), we recommend bringing a universal adapter. We kindly ask you to use electricity consciously — our system is efficient, but designed for a sustainable lifestyle in harmony with the sea.

What should I pack?

Life on board is wonderfully minimalist 🙂 You’ll need very little, as most of the time is spent barefoot and in a swimsuit. Even ashore, clothing is informal and relaxed. Be sure to bring:

Sunscreen

Hat

Sunglasses

Light T-shirts

Shorts

Swimsuits

Beach towel

Shower towel

Light sweatshirt and/or windbreaker (for night sailing)

Seasickness pills (if needed)

Flip flops Mask and snorkel (if you prefer to use your own — we also have them on board)

IMPORTANT: Do NOT bring hard-shell suitcases or trolleys.

How many people will be on board?

The group is limited to a maximum of 6 participants to ensure an intimate, curated, and authentic experience.

Who leads the activities?

On board you’ll find certified instructors (Yoga Alliance, AIDA International, Apnea Total) and experienced guides who live the sea as a way of life.

Do I need to know how to swim?

Yes, being comfortable in the water is important. You don’t need to be an athlete, but you do need to feel at ease in the sea.
